Yamaha Lower Unit Interchange
Does anyone have a chart that shows which units will interchange. These things are not only hard to get parts for, info. is much more scarce than Merc. and OMC

What exactly are you looking for?? I have a book for engines and lowers. According to the book..........................
ProV 150 86-99 shaft lenth L spaner nut style are the same
V150/ VX150 2000-07 shaft lenth L spanner nut style are the same
ProV 175-200hp 86-99 spanner nut stlye are the same
V175/VX175 2000-07 shaft lenth L spanner nut style are the same
Non pro "V" 150-175-200 88-05 shaft lenth L spanner nut style are the same
Non pro "V" 150-175-200 88-05 shaft lenth XL spanner nut style are the same
It has many more.....

Here is a list. You have to be a dealer to order from them. I was surprised they had this were the general public can see but they didn't put the prices. Actually I picked up a unit that came from a 40 H/P 2 stroke that I don't know the year model for. I cannot find a part # anywhere on it. Even his charts don't seem to cover this H/P range.

two cycle 40/50 gearcases should interchange regardless of the year model.
